I have written a VBScript (my first) that grabs the windows XP username. This code works as either pass-thru html or in the html head content section.

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="VBScript">
Set wshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
strUser = wshShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings("%USERNAME%")
Msgbox(strUser)
</SCRIPT>

I am now stuck on how to make use of the value that I have got !! Can anyone tell me how to get this value into a field ?

Thanks
Paul
